activity check

Activity check is due after every week on Sunday at noon EST. Your AC write-up should be in before the weekly log for the next week goes up. Please do not make me track you down every week to ask about your AC. You may submit your AC at any time during the week.

As mentioned, AC is a write-up of your characters bonds. Feel free to be as descriptive (or not) as you'd like in detailing your character's relationships with other characters and NPCs (if applicable). AC is mandatory but relaxed; if you have not had any sort of significant changes during a week, it's absolutely fine to write that you were taking a break, etc. Not all CR needs to be positive either, negative CR is just as accepted and applicable as positive CR!

You do not need to stick to any sort of format for your write-ups, but if you'd like one, you can use the following:

Player Name: Nik
Character Name: Vakama
Character Bonds: SLOW WEEK FOR VAKAMA. With the movement between areas Vakama has tried to keep himself occupied almost exclusively with self-improvement to varying degrees, though a couple people have been able to break through and try to get him experiencing other things that aren't quite so serious.

THIS IS STILL IN PROGRESS HOPEFULLY I'LL HAVE IT ALL UPDATED BEFORE SUNDAY.....

- Though it's still fragile and awkward, Vakama has started building some trust with Dorothy. He's stumbled upon her in some compromising states a couple times already this week but has tried to offer reassurance and give her space to share about her world to a party who is in similar circumstances. There is also enough trust for them to room together by choice within a cast of humans that they both have various hangups about. Vakama doesn't know whether he can provide Dorothy any of the support that he sees that she so desperately needs, but he doesn't want her to fall into despair thinking that she is all alone in her worries and wants. Also he respects her privacy enough to never tell anyone about what happened with Yeager, shh.
- Yeager. What the fuck, man. Suspicious. He has no idea what to think of this guy or his underhanded and vague way of communicating, but he genuinely hopes the guy actually means what he says when it comes to Dorothy. Still, as with Dorothy, he has no reason to really spill the beans on what he found that night and is fine to let them work it out between themselves.
- Vakama was able to confide in Viktor, albeit in rather vague terms, some of the mistakes and misgivings he'd had towards himself when it comes to choice, freedom, and the path he's taken. He sees Viktor as a similarly haunted spirit by his past, and has tried to give Viktor privacy to confront things that he does not want to have hanging over his head during their time here. Still, he's remained cagey about describing anything of his own to Viktor in return, and wants to focus on helping the man find faith in his ability to work together with their group rather than having to hide.
- Void Archive continues to be a blight upon Vakama's patience, but moreso than that, they have shown an incredulous sort of attitude towards Vakama now that Vakama has had a vision in front of them. Regardless of their intentions with him, Vakama feels scrutinized by them in a way that infuriates and frightens him, and has made him irrationally angry with them. How their CR is going to change from here will vary, but right now, he wants them to stop analyzing him and focus on the tasks at hand, especially when Void Archive is calling out an issue that Vakama himself is also very concerned about - his own competence under his boughts of mental distress.
- Bailey was an excellent sport during combat and they even got to find a shard combo in the process! They are also teaching him how to high-five. :)
- Raven has been a surprisingly good sport, giving casual compliments and being kind of a backup (if not necessarily firm) source of validation. Also taking him to W*lmart. Vakama isn't used to having such casual kindness from a complete stranger, and finds himself feeling all the more unsure of how to hold himself around Raven because of it - he respects Raven as a peer in a few regards, and does appreciate that his compassion is a strength when watching him deal with others, but Vakama cannot help but worry that the kindness directed towards himself has not been earned.
- Vakama is notably frustrated with Wolfwood's lack of patience and teamwork after the week 2 event, but cannot bring himself to speak up about it in depth given that the mission was still successful. He is trying his hardest to find a balance in choosing his battles and communicating his concerns, and he does not feel he did a particularly job of it this mission, with Wolfwood being the prime example to fuel that thought.

idk i'll add to this maybe yay yippee
